Dr. Camp understands the characteristics of each filler and how combining them can create comprehensive facial rejuvenation lasting from 6 months to 2 years. The fillers Dr. Camp uses include:
JUVÉDERM: This family of products includes JUVÉDERM Ultra, JUVÉDERM Ultra Plus, and JUVÉDERM Ultra Plus XC. These are all hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers that effectively improve the appearance of facial contours, wrinkles, and folds.
VOLUMA: VOLUMA is also a JUVÉDERM filler but is singled out as the first approved by the FDA specifically for restoring volume to the cheeks. VOLUMA can last up to 2 years and has proved to be one of the most popular fillers at our practice.
VOLBELLA®: This is also a JUVÉDERM product and the most recent to be approved by the FDA. VOLBELLA is a silky gel that’s used to produce fuller, more sensuous lips that still look natural. It can also soften the fine lines that can develop around the mouth.
VOLUX™ XC: This JUVÉDERM product is used to enhance the jawline, including the chin and jowl area, helping adjust facial balance and help you have a more chiseled jawline.
SKINVIVE ™ by JUVÉDERM®: This is the first and only hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable designed to smooth and hydrate the cheeks, Get refreshed, glowing skin with this filler that works to hydrate the skin from within.
Restylane®: This family of HA products includes Restylane, Restylane-L, and Restylane Lyft (formerly called Perlane®). Restylane Silk is used for lip enhancement and smoothing fine lines around the mouth, while other products in the Restylane family are used for the enhancement of contour, folds, and wrinkles.
RADIESSE®: This is the heaviest of facial dermal fillers. It’s composed of a mineral compound found naturally in bones called calcium hydroxylapatite. Besides producing immediate results, RADIESSE also continues to stimulate collagen production.
Sculptra®: Sculptra works differently than HA fillers. It is made of poly-L-lactic acid and triggers the gradual production of collagen to create a more youthful appearance. It requires multiple injections scheduled about a month apart. Results develop gradually and can last up to 2 years.
To make your treatment as painless and carefree as possible, we also offer Pro-Nox, a 50/50 nitrous oxide and oxygen combination, to help relieve pain and anxiety during treatments.

While the results are temporary and not as dramatic, dermal fillers can be an excellent alternative to surgery in the right patients. Popular options include:
These injectable treatments can be a nonsurgical alternative to a facelift for people with early signs of facial aging. Dermal fillers can restore volume in facial folds, around the eyes, and on the cheeks and temples. BOTOX smooths away lines and wrinkles on the upper face and vertical bands on the neck. Performing these treatments together provides a more complete facial rejuvenation than with either treatment on its own.
A liquid rhinoplasty, also called a liquid nose job or nonsurgical rhinoplasty, makes subtle changes to the shape of the nose using dermal filler injections. This alternative to surgical rhinoplasty does not require incisions, anesthesia, or downtime. Liquid rhinoplasty can enhance the bridge or tip of the nose, improve the symmetry between each side of the nose, or make other temporary improvements; it cannot make the nose smaller or improve breathing.

Many people choose lip fillers for one or more of the following benefits:
Your provider will talk with you about your desired improvements and help you choose the filler best suited for your unique needs and cosmetic goals. We use a variety of fillers for lip enhancement; however, the following are formulated specifically for the lips:
To minimize discomfort, we apply numbing cream and use fillers that contain lidocaine. We offer Pro-Nox as well to control pain and calm nerves. We inject filler into the lips using a fine needle or microcannula.
Expect swelling and possibly bruising for about 2 to 7 days. You can return to your daily routine right away, although you should hold off on strenuous activity and drinking alcohol until the next day.
Results are temporary but typically last up to 12 months.

In addition to fillers, we can use BOTOX® Cosmetic to enhance the lips. While fillers fill out the lips from within, BOTOX creates the illusion of a fuller top lip. It relaxes the muscle that controls the top lip, allowing the lip to roll slightly upward (flip), exposing more of the pink vermillion. Fillers are good for adding fullness and definition to the lips. A lip flip is good for a subtle enhancement and slightly exposing the teeth. In some cases, a combination of these treatments has a beautiful effect. Learn more about the lip flip in this blog post.

There is no downtime with dermal fillers. You can resume most activities right away. Your initial appearance after treatment with any dermal filler may include:
These conditions can be alleviated with topical icing and will improve within a matter of hours or just a few days. If Dr. Camp uses your own fat as the injected filler, the healing process is longer and may take a few weeks. Dr. Camp encourages patients who have questions or concerns following treatments to contact our practice.

Dermal fillers are safe when injected by an experienced provider into a properly screened patient. We only use FDA-approved fillers for the highest level of safety.
Most of our fillers contain a local anesthetic to prevent discomfort during injection. In addition, we offer a variety of options to ease any stress about the possibility of pain, such as topical anesthesia, a stress ball to squeeze, and even self-administered nitrous oxide with the ProNox® system.
Today, multiple fillers are formulated specifically for the lips. We offer a variety of JUVÉDERM and Restylane products as lip fillers. The best choice for you will depend on whether you want to add overall fullness to your lips, define the edges, smooth out fine lines around the mouth, or achieve other goals.
A quick peck is fine as soon as you feel comfortable, but hold off on passionate kissing for a few days to give the filler time to integrate with your lip tissues.
The best age for starting fillers depends on the improvement you’d like to attain. People in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and up who want to address signs of aging, such as volume loss around the eyes, on the cheeks and lips, and facial folds and wrinkles, benefit from facial rejuvenation with fillers. Many people as young as 21 choose fillers for sculpting the lips, jawline, and nose.
No, fillers work within the skin to smooth away wrinkles, lines, and folds. BOTOX stops the contractions of facial muscles, allowing the skin to smooth out gradually. Often, a combination of these treatments provides the desired facial rejuvenation.
Certainly! Many patients combine fillers with BOTOX injections, microneedling, or laser treatments like Forever Young® BBL photorejuvenation to produce the optimal results.
For optimal results, avoid strenuous exercise, heat exposure, and alcohol until the next day. Do not take NSAIDs and blood thinners for 3 days.
Filler results typically last from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the specific treatment area and filler used.
